Multiplying EQ @Work
Workplace relationships thrive when Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is activated in our social interactions with various stakeholder groups. In this programme, participants will learn about personal (i.e., self-awareness & management) and social (i.e., social awareness & relationship management) competences and apply them as tools to cultivate goodwill with others.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will acquire the knowledge, mindset and/or skillsets to:
- Interpret and manage their personal EI component strengths
- Develop empathic listening skills to understand and respond appropriately to others
- Strengthen interpersonal skills to better communicate with others and handle workplace challenges

SPEAKING FROM THE H.E.A.R.T
Public Speaking & Interpersonal Communication Skills (Basic)
H.E.A.R.T stands for Happiness, Empowerment, Affirmation, Respect and Trust. These are the underpinning values that we exercise in the programme to help participants develop speaking skills alongside everyday listening and conversational skills.
The programme emphasises the teaching of simple self-storytelling and playing speaking games before imparting public speaking techniques. It also focuses on the establishment of mutual trust and respect as cornerstone in empowering one another with confidence and acceptance.

Participants will acquire the knowledge, mindset and/or skillsets to:
- Understand the foundations of impactful communications
- Understand emotions and its role in communication
- Apply skillsets to create impactful communication
- Apply techniques to gain confidence in public speaking and everyday interpersonal communications
